Thoughts on the upcoming season:
"I am extremely excited and blessed to get this opportunity. We are estimating 7-8 seniors on the team, so hopefully that will translate into strong leadership. The J.V. team went 10-4 last year and we have some talented freshmen joining the program. Our goal is to win the KCK league, win sub state, and cause some ruckus in the state tournament."

Thoughts on the upcoming season:
"For the JV team I am excited to finally have my own team for a whole season and expect us to compete at the level of last years JV team, if not exceed the accomplishments of last year’s JV team. The JV team will play hard and leave it on the floor every game we play. For the varsity team my expectations are exactly what Coach Leslie told me the first time we talked in August…win the KCK league, win sub-state, win state it is that simple. For the freshmen team I expect to see a lot of growth and development by the players so that they can possibly contribute positively on either the JV or Varsity team at some points during the season."
